Airo: Gianluca Ferramola decided to start a new career path

After years of fruitful collaboration and important national and international successes Gianluca Ferramola, a member of the family that founded Airo, has decided to start a new career path. At the same time, the AIRO team is very pleased to announce the expansion of its design team.

Eng. Gian Luca Bulgarelli, a long-standing professional in the field of components for lifting equipment, joined Airo - Tigieffe may, the 10th as the new R&D Director reporting to Simone Pignatti, Managing Director of the company. Gian Luca will become the company's point of reference for the development of new technologies and new lifting machines, continuing the work of innovation carried out so far by the design team, with particular focus on new "green" solutions with zero emissions, zero noise and low maintenance. Gian Luca will head up the design office, coordinating the work of designing the new machines, optimising the ranges already on the market, and managing the team. He will also be a colleague able to assist area managers in the definition of new projects.  Gian Luca Bulgarelli comes from a ten-year career in the technical management of an important company active in the design and production of components and industrial systems in the AGVs and lifting machinery sector. A competent manager, Gian Luca is able and accustomed to managing complex design challenges as well as interdisciplinary work teams, in national and international contexts, constantly dealing with the technical requirements of customers and suppliers.
