AMCS had the privilege of participating in the construction of the Statue of Unity, in India, at the Sadhu Bet island.

Once built, this monument dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (nationalist leader and Indian statesman, native, as Gandhi, Gujarat), also known as the "Iron Man of India", will be the highest in the world, it will reach 182 meters high.

AMCS technologies anti-collision systems operate on three Potain MR 295 H20 luffing jib and MC 205 B saddle jib tower crane. The DCS 60 (Driving Control System) zoning and anti-collision systems installed represent a real driving assistance for the realization of this spectacular project.

Ensuring the safety of the job site to maintain its productivity was essential to guarantee the activity of cranes that lift rebar, concrete and steel, and also assemble the bronze fixtures that will form the outer cladding of the statue.

A memorial, a convention center, a hotel, research centers and institutes will be added to the statue whose work is expected to be complete by this year. The Statue of Unity with its 182 meters will be the highest in the world. It is followed by the Spring Temple Buddha in China that measures 153 meters high and by the Statue of Liberty of New York in the United States (93m).

About AMCS technologies

Founded in 1994 by Mohamed Chettibi, AMCS technologies designs and manufactures high-end electronic systems for the management of different sources of interference between lifting equipment to ensure safety at construction sites. AMCS technologies stands apart in France and worldwide through the quality and performance of its products and systems which benefit from the same approach favouring innovation and reliability. These take into account the particular characteristics of each brand and type of crane, they adapt to suit the specific configuration of the site, and are designed to strictly comply with current standards.

The involvement, diversity of skills and technical know-how of AMCS technologies personnel make it possible to ensure the continual monitoring of each client’s project, from the installation request, to the programming of systems, training, performed work and on-site troubleshooting. This culture of ongoing innovation tangibly translates into thousands anti-collision systems installed worldwide today at key sites such as the Santiago International Airport, FPJP in Paris, Atlantic Bridge in Panama, and the Abu Dhabi Airport, amongst many others.
