ERMONT developped the EXPLORER, new patented asphalt plant based on an smart container concept with on-board mobility, CSC approved, which guarantees unbeatable transfer costs, regardless of its destination.
The EXPLORER is available in two technologies (TSM or RETROFLUX) and in two versions: a supertransferable version for very fast assembly / disassembly by crane without concrete foundations; a supertransferable SE (Self Erecting) version, which can be assembled / disassembled without a crane, using self-loading trailers and hydraulic cylinders installed permanently in the containers. The EXPLORER equipped with the TSM technology can recycle up to 35% of RAP on a flow range of 60 to 150 t/h. The EXPLORER with the RETROFLUX technology can recycle up to 50% of RAP on a flow range of 80 to 160 t/h.
Thanks to its smart-container format with on-board mobility, the EXPLORER is transportable anywhere in the world by road, sea or train, at low transportation and assembly / disassembly costs. Equipped with hydraulic stands, no need for concrete foundations for its setting-up. The SE version has, in addition, hydraulic cylinders for a craneless erection and disassembly.
Asphalt plants of the EXPLORER range can produce outstanding-quality HMA at low costs thanks to steady and high-precision dosage of all constituents, very long dry pre-mixing and binder mixing times, and thanks to the state-of-the-art multi-fonction automation system developped by ERMONT: SOFTMIX.
ERMONT puts staff safety first in the design and operation of its facilities, which are all equipped with nip points protections, movable guards, safety-locking devices, emergency stops and a comfortable & secure access at all points. Thanks to the combination of the advantages above, asphalt plants of the EXPLORER range are positioned as the highest return on investment facilities on the market.
