With the market launch of various attractive technical innovations, Goldhofer Aktiengesellschaft is determined to further consolidate its position as global market leader for heavy duty and oversized cargo transport solutions in 2017.
At last year’s Bauma, Goldhofer caused a stir in the industry with the debut of the “ADDRIVE”, a switchable drive that combines the advantages of a PST self-propelled modular transporter with those of a towed THP module in a single vehicle. Following the launch of the “ADDRIVE” on the European market, there will be a stronger marketing effort for the system in 2017 on overseas markets like the Middle East, India and the United States.
At this year's Conexpo Goldhofer will be unveiling the THP/DC, a completely new transport system that has been designed specifically to meet the needs of the American logistics industry in the field of dual-lane operations. What makes this heavy-duty module so special is that its width is adjustable under load from 14 to 20 feet.
At the 2017 Transport Herning trade show in Denmark, the German company's stand will feature yet another innovative product, namely the STZ-VP (285). This first-in-class drop-deck semitrailer comes with an impressive bending moment, Goldhofer's proven pendular axle technology and an axle load of up to 16 tons.
The introduction of new and highly relevant technical developments is being accompanied in 2017 by changes in the senior management at the South German company, which again are an expression of continuity and dynamism. As Senior Vice President, Rainer Auerbacher is now responsible for Sales in the Transport Technology Division. Rainer Auerbacher has been with the company for more than ten years and was previously International Director of Sales – Heavy Duty Modules. He is supported in his work by Renato Ramella, who remains in charge of Sales in Europe. Goldhofer will continue to be the name for high-grade innovative solutions developed with and for customers. The company sees itself as a reliable long-term partner for customers and in their understanding partnership is the key to mutual success.
