- Official agent of France expands its product lineup with two cranes from the Raimondi Class 110 series.

Official agent of France, GP Mat International, takes delivery of its first two new Raimondi T147 flat-top tower cranes as part of the company’s outgoing efforts to modernize its rental fleet and meet specific market demands.

We are proud to announce that we are invigorating the GP Mat product lineup by adding two Raimondi T147s to our machine portfolio, enhancing our offerings to the French market,” commented Frank Torchard, President, GPMat. Torchard confirmed that the company’s rental fleet now counts more than 200 Raimondi cranes, including three new T187 flat-top tower cranes.

Chosen for operational versatility, excellent performance in terms of lifting capacity, and ease of use, the T147 cranes are currently at work in Monteux, France, for the construction of a residential project. Supporting the development of Les Jardins Harmonia, the site also features a Raimondi MRT159 topless tower crane, at work at a height of 33m with jib length of 44m. The Raimondi T147-8t flat-tops are erected at a height of 24m with jib lengths of 40m, and a tip load of 4.35t. Equipped with a 37kW hoisting gear, the T147 can lift at a maximum speed of 105m/min and have a drum capacity of 620m. Both of the cranes are fitted with Lumina cabin, utilizing the advanced features of ConCore, Raimondi’s innovative control system.

The MRT159 remains one of our bestselling models in the region, while the Raimondi Class 110 series cranes have several technical and operational advancements, including improved error diagnostics, faster commissioning, and enhanced overall safety,” Torchard said.

Torchard emphasized that the modularity and interchangeability of parts were additional value-adds considered during the fleet expansion planning. Rented to project contractor HD Construction, the cranes were installed in Q3 and will remain onsite for approximately 14 months. Upon completion, the development will feature 376 apartments, restaurants and green areas.
