The DCS 60 anti-collision systems of AMCS technologies take part in numerous projects undertaken in Ile de France as part of the “Grand Paris Express”. Installed on several tower cranes on different construction sites, so far, two of them are in operation on the impressive Liebherr 1000 EC-H 40 Litronic cranes.

After several months of preliminary works for the “Grand Paris”, about 65 projects came into the civil engineering phase. Future stations will gradually emerge especially thanks to tower cranes. Among the job sites equipped with DCS 60, there are two projects at Bagneux. On the one hand the job site of south line 15 of the “Grand Paris Express”, which commissioning is scheduled for 2024. On the other, the extension of line 4 of the subway that will anchor its terminus in 2021.

The request of the Grand Paris is mainly for high capacity cranes, one of the latest models of Liebherr cranes, the 1000 EC-H 40 Litronic equipped with anti-collision system and zoning DCS 60, is in operation.

In order to guarantee also the cadences on the job site of the station of Arcueil / Cachan for the new station of RER B and the south line 15 of the subway, the other crane Liebherr 1000 EC-H 40 Litronic is also equipped with the DCS 60.

The companies involved in this extraordinary project have particularly high requirements on productivity and reliability. Ensuring security and meeting deadlines are the keywords on the “Grand Paris”! To go fast it is necessary to ensure the productivity of the job site and therefore cranes.

The AMCS technologies systems thus ensure the safety of these by detecting in real time the risk of collision of all elements of the cranes in interference or the risk of overflight prohibited zone previously defined.
