Norwegian family business JO Moen AS has added a ZX225USRLC-7 to its fleet of Hitachi construction machinery.

With a family business legacy dating back to 1916, Norwegian company JO Moen AS has always prided itself on versatility and a deep-rooted connection to its community. Over the years, its machinery needs have evolved as the company has expanded into different sectors, from construction to environmental services. Now led by the three Moen siblings – Kari Merete, Hilde, and Jan Arild – the company has grown to serve a variety of sectors, including waste disposal, transport, and recycling.

One of the most recent additions to its fleet, the Hitachi ZX225USRLC-7, is a favourite among the team. “We’ve had the ZX225 for a year now, and it’s perfect for tight spaces,” explains General Manager, Jan Arild. “The operator loves it, and it’s great for keeping our talented machine operators engaged and happy.” Operator Adrian Nikolaisen has been with JO Moen since 2013. He’s spent countless hours behind the controls of the Hitachi ZX225-7, and his satisfaction is evident. “It’s a good machine – very flexible and with excellent hydraulics,” he says.

For Adrian, the varied tasks at JO Moen keep things interesting. From working on house plots to replacing aging water pipes, the ZX225 and the other Hitachi machines provide the flexibility he needs to tackle every challenge efficiently. Today, JO Moen’s partnership with its trusted dealership Nasta AS and Hitachi Construction Machinery plays an important role in its day-to-day operations, allowing the company to maintain its strong reputation for reliability and flexibility.

The most important thing for us is operational reliability,” she says. “We can’t afford downtime. Plus, maintenance must be easily accessible. We need machines that keep up with our pace.” Nasta has proven to be a reliable partner, providing the support JO Moen requires. Whether it’s timely maintenance or quick access to parts, Nasta ensures the equipment stays operational when it matters most.
