Linden Comansa: Denmark dealer celebrates 50 years of tower cranes

Danish service and rental company Kran Elektro A/S, ran an open house event last Nov 17th to celebrate its 50th Anniversary with customers, suppliers, friends, staff and families.

Kran Elektro A/S is a family business founded by Preben Bøgh in 1967 as a tower crane service company. Over the years, the business slowly turned to rental and now offers tower cranes, self-erecting cranes and passenger hoists for rental, as well as transport services. The company is currently ran by Preben’ son, Jesper Bøgh.

The rental fleet of Kran Elektro A/S now includes 20 Linden Comansa tower cranes, most of them large models like 21LC335 and 21LC550. According to Jesper Bøgh, "the increasing demand of high capacity cranes is due to growing weight of precast elements in Denmark’s construction”. Kran Elektro A/S purchased its first Linden Comansa crane in 2006 and soon became the Spain headquartered tower crane manufacturer’s exclusive dealer in the country.

The anniversary party was held at Kran Elektro A/S’ premises in Galten, near Aarhus, Denmark’s second largest city. From this well situated town, Kran Elektro A/S can provide its complete services all over the country. Some of the company’s most important projects with Linden Comansa tower cranes include the Ceres Byen development in Aarhus and the construction of the Lego House in Billund.
