The launch of a new configuration of the Trimble Earthworks Grade Control Platform meets the needs of customers seeking an entry-level option for the company’s flagship machine control system. The new configuration provides the same features and functionality as Trimble Earthworks, but at an entry-level price point and designed specifically for use on one, dedicated, high-use excavator.
Trimble Earthworks has transformed machine control, with the industry’s first integrated 3D aftermarket automatics capability and an intuitive, easy-to-learn software that runs on an Android operating system. The technology enables operators of all skill levels to work faster, with greater accuracy and more productively than ever before.
The new Trimble Earthworks configuration is the latest example of Trimble’s commitment to meeting the needs of all users. In 2023, the company released the Trimble Siteworks Machine Guidance Module, extending the capabilities of Trimble Siteworks Software to support on-machine excavator guidance and operator assistance. Trimble’s portfolio also includes Trimble Earthworks GO!, a bring your own device machine control system for compact equipment; Trimble Earthworks Grade Control Platform with Horizontal Steering Control for Dozers and Soil Compactors; and the Trimble Roadworks 3D Paving Control Platform for Asphalt Paving. The new, entry-level Trimble Earthworks configuration for excavators is ideal for civil contractors in Europe, Australia and Japan.
