Polita Sollevamenti puts brand new tadano ac 3.060-1 into service

Polita Sollevamenti ordered the Tadano AC 3.060-1 with a 16-meter main boom extension.

For Fabio Polita, Managing Director and Owner of the crane service provider of the same name from Legnano, Italy, the strengths of the Tadano AC 3.060-1 are obvious: “We were particularly impressed that it has the longest reach of all the cranes in its performance class, combined with a remarkable lifting capacity of up to 60 tonnes," he says. And he also sees the compact design as a major plus.

To take full advantage of the crane's maximum reach, Polita Sollevamenti ordered the AC 3.060-1 with a 16-meter main boom extension. “And we definitely didn’t want to be without the camera on the main boom head for monitoring the hook block and load," says Fabio Polita, pointing out another extra on his new crane. Another on-board feature is the intuitive remote control, which enables control of the automatic counterweight rigging system from outside the superstructure cab.

However, the technology was not the only thing that tilted the scale in favor of the AC 3.060-1: "Tadano offers great customer service and has a strong local team to support us. For me as an entrepreneur, this is just as important as simply acquiring a product that is a technological leader," he stresses.

Incidentally, the AC 3.060-1 has already had its first successful deployment – as expected, it impressed with its compact design and long reach during a crane erection in the center of Milan.
