The Sennebogen 673 R-HD has been a favorite among customers all over the world for five years. Now the company is launching an updated model with new features that really make a difference. Because there is always room for improvement.

For more than 20 years, Sennebogen telescopic cranes have embodied the optimum combination of flexibility, cost-effectiveness and quality. The new 673 E has been optimized both with regard to its appearance and its operation.

Changes you can see

Premium standard – the new Maxcab comfort cab offers drivers the proven all-round comfort of Sennebogen, optimally adapted to their requirements: In addition to the driver seat, the layout and design of the controls and the joysticks have also been revised. The consoles are mounted directly on the seat and move with the seat, ensuring that all operating elements are easy to reach. The ergonomic design of the Sennebogen joysticks enables the sensitive and effortless operation of all functions. The joysticks were recently awarded the German Design Award 2018. The sliding-door opening of the cab is particularly large, which makes getting in and out easier.

The exterior of the machine has also been given a new, modern look. The new design, which features a weight-reduced plastic cladding, makes the Sennebogen 673 E look even more attractive.

The Sennebogen 673 E also sets new standards in the areas of maintenance and ease of service. The undercarriage has been raised by 75 mm in order to optimize servicing – a key factor for the longevity of the machine. A central lubrication point for all pivot points and the slewing ring reduces the required amount of servicing, while optimum accessibility to servicing points and important components saves time during operation.

The railing on the uppercarriage can now be folded inward for even easier transportation from job to job. Another new feature is the flange-mounted double collapsible jib: the entire fly boom is bolted on to the main boom and can be folded in two stages, enabling hook heights of up to 50 m to be achieved quickly and easily. This reduces the set-up time on the construction site even further.

The tried-and-tested boom system, with Full-Power Boom for maximum flexibility on the construction site, remains unchanged.

The new 673 R-HD is already prepared for the strict requirements of Tier V emission standards. The powerful and modern 186 kW engine saves a lot of fuel and protects the environment with clean exhaust gases.

Changes the driver will notice

Overall, the new driver area can now be customized to make it more individual and ergonomic for each driver and to ensure maximum convenience when operating the 673 E. The driver will find it even easier to adjust the speed and agility of the machine via the SENCON control and diagnosis system.

The 673 E works for the driver: The set-up program is selected automatically via a soft key and the optimized control technology sets new standards with regard to the sensitive actuation of the operating functions.
