During the Apex 2017 Socage will present the new products that are distinguishing it on the market.

The forSte 75TJJ will be participating, it is a telescopic aerial platform with double jib, Socage colossus, 75 m tall and it can be mounted on trucks with minimum G.V.W. of 32 tons. This aerial platform is able of a maximum 40m outreach and a safe working load (SWL) of 600 kg (6 workers + tools) with a rotation of the aerial part of 700°. The ForSte 75TJJ can be equipped with an hydraulic winch mounted on the jib, with 900 kg capacity, usable when the aluminum basket is removed.

During the Apex, however, Socage gathers the opportunity to present the forSte75JJ with its new patent: Convertible Basket. Infact this aerial platform will have mounted a new aluminum basket, called indeed Convertible basket, hydraulically enlarged (2.300/3.500 x 1.300 x 1.100 mm) and the lifting bar to easily load the basket. The Convertible basket idea was thought by Socage in particular for those who work with Eternit panels, in order to work on roofs and load the basket with sheets.

This optional could be mounted on all the Socage forSte TJ-TJJ range aerial platforms, starting from 35m height. Add to the forSte 75JJ, Socage will bring also in Amsterdam Series VT-VTJ, telescopic aerial platforms installed on VAN. During these years the Italian company promoted the forSte 12VT in the market, which is a 12 m high aerial platform without outriggers and then we launched at Bauma 2016 the forSte 15VTJ, which has a height of 15 m and an articulated jib. The Series VT-VTJ is ideal for electric plants and street lamps maintenance works.

Furthermore we will show during Apex 2017 the innovative Serie E last aerial platforms. It is aerial platforms mounted on 3,5 ton trucks with a safe working load (SWL) of 300 kg mounted on the X-Factor chassis, exclusively patented by Socage. This chassis has the typical X shape (ME+ME) and it permits having a universal installation for every truck, having vertical feet and in-shape working. Another innovation characterizing the Serie E aerial platform is having the SPP profiles, “Socage Project Profile”, raised from the strict collaboration between Socage and Welser Profile GmbH. SPP is the development of tubular profiles made of high resistant material, with the purpose of producing ultralight aerial platforms’ chassis. The profiling technique is first applied with the use of rollers, laser welding, laser tube cutting and robot welding. SPP’s advantages include: modularity of the machines, 30 – 50% reduction of the aerial part weight and a high reduction of vehicle consumption.
