Socage expands its presence in Germany

Socage is expanding its global presence and has decided to open its own branch in Germany.

The Italian access platform manufacturer Socage, based in Carpi, is further expanding its global presence and has decided to open its own branch in Germany. According to Socage's CEO Fiorenzo Flisi, this strategic decision not only fulfils the requirements of the German market, but also underlines the company's intention to further establish the Socage brand in the important German market and expand its market share.

"In future, our own branch in Germany will form the basis for more intensive market development and the expansion of long-term customer relationships as well as direct, sustainable service for our products," says Export Sales Manager Stefan Weber.

Socage has been able to recruit Andre Gerdes for this ambitious project, who has been active in Germany on behalf of Socage since 2 May 2024 and will manage the establishment of the branch, which is already underway, as well as introducing and developing sales and service structures. The long-standing dealer Kunze GmbH from Bruckmühl (south-east of Munich) will remain active for Socage and act as a strategic partner. More details will be announced in the course of the year.

Andre Gerdes comments on his new role as follows: “Socage is currently investing heavily in production and development at its four production sites in Italy in order to further expand its market-leading position. I was able to gain a personal impression of the dimensions on site and was overwhelmed by the measures currently being implemented and planned. I can only invite anyone who is interested to come and see for themselves. The already very representative and innovative product portfolio will be further expanded in future and will be of great interest to the access platform sector in Germany. To emphasise its intentions on the German market, having its own branch is the only right step and I am delighted to be part of this exciting project.
