The world newest OTR retreading plant is on

In the desert of Sonora, close to the biggest copper open-pit mining of Mexico and one of the largest in the world, TRM, the Italian company leader in retreading technologies, has just delivered the most modern OTR plant to Kal Tire, the Canadian based company leader in mining tire service and retreading of the biggest OTR sizes.

When two market leaders join their expertise and efforts  the results are above the expectation.

The plant was put in operation through the active collaboration of the Mexican field team of Kal Tire and the technical team of TRM.

The supply of TRM cover all the required retreading process steps with the state of the art machines: a dedicate multipurpose working gate allows with its flexible tooling head to perform the three steps required for buffing and the final grooving; a full automatized building machine with the exclusive contact calender head; a couple of autoclaves and curing presses completes the installation giving to Kal Tire the full process flexibility for tire sizes up to 63”.
