Cangini can offer products that meet expectations as per their quality, design and comprehensive range

In the recycling field, a widely developing sector due to the important themes strictly linked to the environment safeguard, there are products that are essential to the most different working steps, from selection to recycling and handling. Buckets are certainly among the most utilized products, with features that allow a heavy workload in different grounds.

The screening buckets, then, are crucial to separate the various material sizes directly on site, while the sorting grapples handle different charges depending on the kind of material you are separating and recycling. These tools need to withstand high stresses every day and have necessarily to be conceived to be resistant and tough in the long term.

To all those who are responsible for these operations, the fact of having the chance to rely on a single supplier to manage all the tools they need is a great added value. The Italian company Cangini, with 30 years of experience, can offer products that meet expectations as per their quality, design and comprehensive range, together with the experience necessary to support the customer and his most diversified requests.

The sorting grapples

Conceived to sort and handle materials resulting from demolition works, but utilized also for the waste sorting and recycling, they are suitable for the reliable handling of any kind of material. Their long useful life is granted by the use of high-resistant steels to build them, together with the heat treatment and hardening of pins, while bushes are casehardened and tempered.

Their function is extremely wide thanks to the hydraulic bi-directional rotation - standard equipment on all models - that makes them versatile on sites where handling is necessarily quick. Also the clamps, made of wear-resistant steel, have been analysed thoroughly and diversified: the configurations that have been realized make handling very quick and safe with any material, even those heavier and larger that need the most effective grip. Another essential feature is the flanged valve as standard equipment: it safeguards the engine against the pressure peaks, granting the tool’s long life.

The screening buckets

These are essential tools to sieve materials directly on site, with a great gain of time. From the last year, the work of the R&D staff, boosted by an idea by Giorgio Cangini, President of the company, has produced the design of these new screening buckets, the VMS Multiscreening, with their patented new concept of screening, that allows the real-time choice and change of the materials’ size directly from the cab.

No need of changing any mechanical part, no stop of the working cycle, no one around the bucket at the ground.  On these screening buckets for excavator up to 35 tons and for frontal coupling, with rotary HB 400 double drum, the material size change is hydraulically controlled from the cab by the operator, who can select the size from 25 to 60 mm (65 with the latest two models, VMS 20 and VMS 30). The rotary drums are two and slide one on another: the inner drum back and forward movement, driven by a hydraulic cylinder, changes the size of the holes for the material pouring.

The most innovative aspect is the compact design of the new VMS-F20 model. The rotary double drums in HB400 are now two and their special design allows to maintain the tool’s height unvaried and consequently the visibility from the cab. The work capacity has been increased, with a better mass balancing and a working area widely enlarged, near to the machine’s track width.

The traditional series of the V screening buckets with shaft system represents another option. They are mainly utilized in the recovery operations, where operators need to separate bulk materials coming from demolition or digging works. An important feature of these buckets is their patented system for the shaft replacement that makes this operation easier and quicker and avoids any intervention on the transmission components. A plus of efficiency of this tool: the HB450 knives increase its wear resistance and enables it to withstand the heaviest stresses.
