New colour, new owner, proven quality: Italian crane rental company Fratelli Paradiso S.R.L. has purchased a used crawler crane LR 1750 from Liebherr, which will in future be used for the assembly of wind turbines.

Co-owner Michele Paradiso came to the Liebherr plant in Ehingen in March to personally take delivery of the LR 1750. “We have decided to purchase the used lattice boom crawler crane LR 1750, because we already operate a lattice boom mobile crane LG 1750 successfully, with very good experiences, in our fleet”, explains Michele Paradiso and continues: “With the purchase of the used crawler crane, we now have the opportunity to exchange equipment parts under the two 750-ton cranes. Depending on the requirements on the construction site, we can supply the more suitable crane - on crawlers or wheels”.

The LR 1750 is now the largest crawler crane in the company's fleet. “With the 750-ton crawler crane, we are now in a position to move under load. For this reason, we will use it in future for the assembly of wind turbines and the LG 1750 in industrial applications where no moving is required”, reports Paradiso.

Liebherr offers a large selection of used mobile and crawler cranes. A crane expert thoroughly checks each unit before sale to ensure maximum safety even with used cranes.

Fratelli Paradiso was founded in 1967 by Vito Paradiso. The family business is managed in second generation by Michele, Francesca and Silvia Paradiso. The company currently operates 25 cranes in Canosa di Puglia, employs 50 people and specializes in crane rental and heavy transport.
